‘One night we had the Chinese takeaway – usually, I’d have something like periodic greens with oyster spices, but I had to eat nice and sour chicken within the batter. My friends were completely killing themselves with fun. ‘
‘But I was truly struggling. Forcing down some sort of ready-meal macaroni cheese, I ran across myself fantasising about a scrumptious goat’s cheese salad. ‘
After a few days, the diet did start to really take its toll on her levels of energy.
‘Normally I’m quite lively – I do something like working or badminton or a physical exercise class three to four times every week – but I found in which by 9 pm I was a whole couch potato and just wanted to impact.
‘My husband said My spouse and I seemed flat and less excited. People at work commented about how tired I looked – even though they didn’t know I had created been doing this experiment. ‘
‘My clothes felt stronger after just a few days – although no one noticed, I can tell my waistline had been expanding. I started to really feel a bit self-conscious. ‘
Amanda was also startled to discover she was becoming hooked on the sugary elements of this diet – sugary foods may cause spikes in blood sugar levels that lead to an energy slump, as well as hunger pangs.
‘I noticed We started enjoying the fizzy drinks and craving all of them for a quick fix when I experienced tired. I can see how sugars can become a habit. ‘
